Sri Lanka is highly safe to travel. While there are surely some protection travelers should take when visiting Sri Lanka, the country as a whole is highly safe. For some historical situation, between 1983 and 2009, Sri Lanka was infesting with a harsh civil war, causing most travelers to stay away.
Sri Lanka offers a wide variety of shopping items, the most accepted being gems, tea, batik, and handicrafts. The most popular items to buy among tourists are handloom fabrics, reproduction antiques, leather products, and jewelry.
Sri Lanka country profile. Lying off the southern tip of India, the island of Sri Lanka attracts more tourists for centuries with its natural beauty. But it has injured by a long and bitter civil war arising out of tribal tensions between the majority Sinhalese and the Tamil minority in the north and the east.
Jeans or range pants, shirts or T shirts, windproof jackets, warm and thick fleece, woolen sweater, thermal inner wear, socks, scarfs, woolen gloves etc as outfit condition to check the spine thrilling cold at Prashar Lake, especially if you are at work during winter. Relaxed trekking shoes, slight floater or sandals, raincoat, water bottle, caps and hats, sun glasses, torch, medicines, speciall toiletries, made well backpack bag, wind proof coating or bags etc can be the needed traps you can carry from your side.
