Day 1    Destination - Jaisalmer: Arrival and day at leisure

On arrival at Jaisalmer railway station, you will be welcomed by our agent’s representative, and transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax for a while, since you have the day at leisure. You can opt to check out the nearby attractions or the local markets towards the evening. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2    Destination - Jaisalmer: City tour

Meals    :      Breakfast & Dinner

After a delicious breakfast, get ready to enjoy a tour of all popular Jaisalmer attractions. First of all, pay a visit to Jaisalmer Fort, constructed out of golden limestone, thus giving it the name of Sonar Qilla or the Golden Fort. Next, visit ancient buildings from the 12th to 15th century, including Patwon-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli and Salim Singh ki Haveli, all of which are still inhabited. The intricate carvings and lattice work on these buildings have to be seen to be believed. Towards the evening, enjoy camel safari on Sam Sand Dunes, and immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of Rajasthan. Enjoy live music from local artists, folk dances, and other cultural programs. Here, visit the Lord Adinatha Jain temple, which has 29 halls which are supported by 1444 pillars. The unique thing about this temple is that none of the 1444 pillars are alike. The temple is also full of intricately carved sculptures and murals. Also visit the Sun Temple, located right opposite this temple. Continue your journey towards Udaipur. On arrival, check in at the hotel and towards the evening, and spend the remaining day at leisure. You can opt to explore the surrounding countryside on a horse, a car or on foot, or choose to enjoy a comfortable boat ride over the serene lake. Return to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay. Nakki Lake is a must-see spot near Mount Abu, and you can even rent an affordable paddle boat to get on the water and admire the hills surrounding the lake. Also of interest in Mount Abu will be the Dilwara Temples. These temples from the Jain religion date from about the 12th century and are carved from an exquisite white marble.

2. Bikaner

Although the city of Bikaner is home to a palace, a historic fort and even a camel research center, many Indians know it as a destination for foodies with a sweet tooth. One of the local specialties you’ll definitely want to try is Kesar Kulfi, a sweet and iced dessert that is delicious and refreshing on a hot afternoon. Desert safaris are also popular in Bikaner, and you can ride a camel into the desert to explore the local culture and landscape. It is impossible to miss Bikaner’s Junagarh Fort, built in the 16th century and now holding an extensive museum about the region.

3. Chittorgarh

The city of Chittorgrah, situated on the banks of the Berach River, is known for one particularly impressive attraction: The Chittorgarh Fort. The smallest of all the Amans, the camp comprises of ten luxury sleeping tents which echo the rich Mughal travelling tents from a bygone era, each one constructed of canvas, with interior walls and ceilings draped in fine cotton. Each tent is a generous 108 square metres, with a soaring six-metre canopy, and three further rooms for sleeping, bathing and dressing. The bedroom reflects a elegant Mughal style, luxurious and airy, with a king-size bed flanked by twin writing desks. A magnificent Art Deco palace hotel and still the home of the erstwhile Royal Family, Umaid Bhawan Palace is the last of India’s great palaces.

Perched on the summit of Chittar Hill, the highest point in Jodhpur, Umaid Bhawan Palace has commanding views over the fabled Blue City of Jodhpur, vast sand dunes and the imperious Mehrangarh Fort, and set within 26 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens it is one of the largest residences in the world. Built between 1929 and 1942, this golden monument, carved out of desert sandstone, designed by the famed Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester and commissioned by H. H.
