Day 1    Destination - Bhubaneswar: Arrival

Meals    :      Breakfast

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in and freshen up after which a visit to Khandagiri - Udayagiri Jain caves and Nandankanan Zoo (Closed on Monday) is in the schedule. Evening - pass the vacant time at Ekamra Haat. Have a comfortable overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 2    Destination - Odisha : Puri

Meals    :      Breakfast

After breakfast, drive to Puri visiting enroute Dhauli (Peace Pagoda), Heerapur (64 Yogini Temple), Pipli (Village of Applique Works), Sakhigopal temple and Raghurajpur painting village. Evening is free to enjoy the Beach Market of Puri. Have a comfortable overnight stay at Puri.

Day 3    Destination - Puri: Sightseeing

Meals    :      Breakfast

Enjoy Morning Aarti in the Temple of Lord Jagannath, have a stroll on exciting Grand Road & visit Gundicha Temple. After breakfast visit Chilka Lake at Satpada to view dolphins and sea mouth. Visit en-route Alarnath Temple. Have a comfortable overnight stay in Puri.

Day 4    Destination - Odisha: Return to Puri

Meals    :      Breakfast

Morning - after breakfast, drive to visit the Black Pagoda at Konark(The Sun Temple), Chandrabhaga Beach & Ramchandi Temple. Back to Puri and relax at the beach or take a long walk on the beach to witness the activities on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Have a comfortable overnight stay in Puri.

Day 5    Destination - Odisha: departure

After breakfast transfer to Bhubaneswar and visit temples like Lingaraj, Rarajani, Parashurameswar and Mukteswar. Then in time drop at Airport/Railway Station for onward journeys.

1. Puri Beach 

Puri Beach like other beaches of Puri is very long and quiet. You can reach most of the famous temples with ease as they are all situated close to the beach only. Numerous stalls line up around the beach for tourists to pick up souvenirs made of shells, jute and many lamp shades or wall hangings made from patch work.

2. Konark Sun Temple

If you have been in Puri or Bhubaneshwar one should must go to see the Sun Konark Temple but it will be better to hire a guide. The Temple has been closed permanently the sculpture also damaged by the sea wind but still most of the sculpture are full. Every wheel of the Sun temple has different meaning, one can know the time from the Konark wheel.

3. Lord Jagannath Temple

If you are able to visit early morning must come to sea beach @ 5. 30 6. 30, you can see a golden scene of Sun rise. Also in the evening you can enjoy Sun set. 4. Lingaraj Temple

Lingaraj Temple is located within a spacious compound wall of latterite measuring 520 ft by 465 ft. Biggest of all temples in the city, it is devoted to the Hindu god Harihara. In addition to being surmounted by a plain slant coping, the wall of the temple is 7 ft 6 inches thick. A terrace probably meant to protect the compound wall against outside aggression, runs alongside the inner face of the boundary wall.

5. ISKCON Temple

ISKCON Temple contains idols of deities like Krishna, Balaram, Gaura Nithai, Subhadra and Jagannath. Focused on propagating and educating spiritual knowledge, techniques of spiritual life to society at large, and consciousness of Krishna, the temple follows the great scriptures of India, Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.

6. Nandankanan Zoo

Nandankanan Zoo is located in the Chandaka Forest, on the banks of the Kanjia Lake. Black panthers, gharial crocodiles and white tigers are some of the wildlife that exist in the zoo. The zoo is home to over 67 kinds of mammals, 18 varieties of reptiles and 81 species of birds that co-exist in the deeply forested boundaries. For gharial crocodiles, a captive breeding centre is also located within the zoo.

7. Hirakud Dam

Hirakud Dam is the longest and one of the largest reservoirs of the world. Built on River Mahanadi, the engineering marvel is a source of power generation in the country. Along with power generation, the largest artificial lake in Asia provides irrigation to the region.

The reservoir is spread over an area of 746 sq. km that has a shore line of over 640 km. On their visit to the location, tourists can take a  21 km drive on the dyke.

8. Dhauli Giri Shanti Stupa

Dhauli Giri Shanti Stupa, also known as Peace Pagoda, is a Buddhist structure built jointly in 1972 by the Japan Buddha Sangh and the Kalinga Nippon Buddha Sangh. Situated on the opposite hill of Dhauli Giri, it was built through the Indo-Japanese collaboration. Constructed by the chief priest of Nipponzan Myohoji, who came to India in 1930 from Mt. Minobu, the original holy place of the Nichiren Sect, it is a domed structure.

9. Udayagiri And Khandagiri Caves

Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves have derived their names, owing to their location on two hills, Udayagiri and Khandagiri. Mentioned as Kumari Parvat in Hathigumpha inscription, the two caves face each other across the road. At the site, tourists can find a number of ornately carved caves. Legend states that during the reign of King Kharavela, most of these caves were carved out as residential blocks for the Jain monks.

10. Sanaghagara Waterfall

The Sanaghagara Waterfall is located close to NH-6 in the Keonjhar District. This 100 ft high waterfall is popular for trekking and camping. The months from October through March are considered the best time to visit this waterfall.

The remarkable new Kala Bhoomi Crafts Museum in Odisha's capital city Bhubaneshwar is one of the top museums in India that showcases the country's heritage. It opened to much acclaim in 2018 and is spread over a substantial 13 acres. The museum has four zones with eight galleries. These include galleries dedicated to terracotta work, traditional paintings, stone and wood carving, metal crafts, tribal crafts, and hand-looms. What really stands out is that it's an interactive museum where you can view the artisans at work and participate in workshops.

2. Ekamra Haat, Bhubaneswar

Set up as an initiative of the state government, this is a sprawling shopping zone specializing in the traditional arts and crafts of Odisha. There are specific shops dedicated to each craft making it the best place to shop for souvenirs and traditional items of daily use from across the state. The prices are very reasonable and the collection expansive. Customization is also possible as most of the craftsmen also take orders and some use the place as their workshops.
