Set amidst the vibrant blue of the sea, the vividly beautiful forest green and the almost palpable warmth of the sun, was that beauty – Varca beach. It is an extensively wide beach situated in south goa at about 55.7 Kms away from north goa’s famous, Baga beach. Nearby is a scenic beauty in its own self, the Cabo de Rama fort, situated at about 14.7Kms from Varca beach. It is a 46-minute drive from Varca beach so you can plan your day accordingly to capture the picturesque of this architectural vigour. You only pay the entrée fee to explore this piece of architecture around a sea view. Who knows while capturing the beauty, you might find out the reason why this place is also known to be haunted!

Moving forward, the tiredness of the fort will take you to our next step in the itinerary, the Church of Holy Spirit, Margao. It is a beautiful and serene place to take a walk at. Situated at about 10Kms from the Varca beach, it only takes 21 minutes for you to drive and take a pause from your frantic day.  Later at night, dazzle up and bring your bling to the Zuri White Sands Casino, right at Varca. Enjoy the night with the charm of money and coins by bringing you’re a-game at rolling dice. Win a lottery and dance to lively music with your better halves cheering you at the games. Goa will not take away anything, at the least, it will give you stories to tell and memories to relive at dinner parties.

South Goa is all about the serenity and beauty of being away from the crowds of huge metropolitans like Delhi and Mumbai. Do plan a visit to south goa if you want to cherish the glimpse of nature’s own landscapes.
