A beautiful cantonment town in Garhwal district of Lansdowne State in Uttarakhand, which is counted among the most beautiful hill stations in India. Actually this place is known for a stone. It is believed that there is a stone placed on a rocky slope, which is so strong that no one can shake it from its place. According to legend, when Pandavas were in exile, Bhim placed a stone on a rock outside a Lansdowne.
You can visit the famous Lesheshwar Mahadev near Lansdowne. this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It takes about 1 hour from the main city to reach the village of Rameshwar Mahadev. Logeshwar Mahadev is counted among the oldest ‘Siddha Peeth’ of the country. The big center of Hindu faith sanctifies this whole area.
